We are a family business which started back in 1894 by a local farmer, Walter C Hunt, who sold hay and straw. Over the years the company has expanded to supply many more products from chicken feed to Wellington Boots.

The company is well known in the local farming community selling animal feeds, cereal, grass seeds, fertilisers, animal health products and even pet foods. We also supply a comprehensive range of Equestrian supplies including clothing, boots and stable equipment. Hunts have always stocked country clothing and footwear to meet the needs of farmers and walkers alike.

In recent years Organic and G.M. free feeds have provided to be very popular, for which we stock a wide choice.

The business is largely Cash and Carry with all goods sold at competative prices, an account system operates for larger users. The delivery service is efficient and reliable, covering a 50 mile radius.

Personal service and value are the most important aspects of the company and we are happy to take orders and provide a friendly and helpful service.
